Celebrating Exceptional Service in Jersey: Introducing the Give Service a Smile Campaign

As the festive season approaches, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Give Service a Smile campaign, a new initiative by the Jersey Customer Experience (JCX) Alliance that invites the community to celebrate the incredible people who make our daily lives brighter through their outstanding customer service. Running from 4th November to 15th December, this six-week campaign is all about spreading joy and fostering a vibrant atmosphere across Jersey, highlighting the often-overlooked contributions of those who make every interaction a little bit better.

Why Give Service a Smile?

At JCX Alliance, we believe that great customer service goes beyond transactions; it’s about creating meaningful experiences, building trust, and leaving a lasting positive impact on people. Every day, employees across Jersey go the extra mile to make others feel valued and appreciated, whether it’s through a warm welcome, a helpful gesture, or simply a smile that brightens someone’s day.

Give Service a Smile was born from our desire to celebrate these everyday heroes. The campaign is our way of giving back, recognising, and showing appreciation for individuals who embody the spirit of exceptional service. We hope this will inspire others and contribute to an even more welcoming and joyful island culture during the holiday season.

The Give Service a Smile campaign seeks to highlight the importance of exceptional customer care in creating positive community experiences. By recognising those who embody the values of Service, Mindfulness, Integrity, Listening, and Excellence—the JCX Alliance’s S.M.I.L.E. Standards—the campaign hopes to inspire others to spread joy and bring a festive sense of togetherness across the island.

How Does the Campaign Work?

Throughout the campaign, we invite everyone across Jersey to nominate employees who deliver exceptional service. Whether it’s someone who always takes the time to make customers feel special, goes out of their way to help, or simply brings positivity to each interaction, we want to hear about them!

 

How to Nominate:

1. Spot Someone Who Shines:

If an employee’s service has made a positive difference in your day, share it with us.

2. Nominate or Recommend

Visit our Facebook Group and use #GiveServiceASmile to nominate this individual.

3. Recognition:

Each week, we’ll surprise selected nominees with a Smile Pin, recognising their dedication and service to the community.
