DESCRIPTION:Brought to you by the Virtual Speaker Association International (Jersey Chapter)\nAre you an aspiring speaker ready to take the mic and launch your speaking career? \nThis summer\, we’re inviting Jersey’s boldest voices\, brightest ideas\, and most inspiring storytellers to take the stage in our Speaker Factor OPEN-MIC Series. Whether you’re an experienced speaker or just starting out\, this is your moment to shine\, grow\, and connect. \nOver 5 weeks of exciting open-mic style evenings\, 6 speakers (application form below) will take the stage\, live in Jersey\, each week for 15 minutes\, followed by friendly\, non-judgemental feedback from a panel of professional speakers and mentors. \nFollowing the Speaker Factor Open-Mic Series\, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a place in our Speaker Showcase this November\, a chance to take your speaking career to the next level and start stepping onto bigger stages. \n\nWhy apply?\n\nRaise your profile as a speaker\nGet expert feedback to sharpen your skills\nStep outside your comfort zone and grow in confidence\nNetwork with business leaders\, event organisers\, and fellow speakers\nBe in with a chance to feature in the Speaker Showcase and kickstart your speaking career\nLearn practical tips and tools from international keynote speakers to elevate your public speaking\nAnd of course… have a lot of fun along the way!\n\n\nEvent highlights\n\nWeekly speaker evenings across August & September\n15-minute talk + 5-minute feedback\n6 speakers per night at The Sundown\n\n\n Who can apply?\n\nAspiring or established speakers\nProfessionals who speak in boardrooms\, team meetings\, or in front of crowds\nAnyone with a message to share and the desire to grow their confidence and impact\nAny topic welcome: business\, wellness\, storytelling\, leadership\, creativity… you name it!\nOpen to individuals who want to grow\, learn\, and light up the room\n\nAll speakers are free to choose their own topic and speak on a subject they’re passionate about. Please note that some talks may include sensitive themes or personal experiences.
