So my new goal is… tintintin….becoming a $10KKN speaker… wow!! now I am scared!!
OK, if you have been following me, you will know that I have relocated to Dubai, yep, this time last year, I was selling everything, packing my 20 years life in Jersey and I actually moved in October so it will be one-year next month!! If you haven’t followed my journey go and check my Moving to Dubai videos and it was a great experience.
One of the reasons I moved was to give my life a new life, ummm, yes, I needed a new challenge, a new pot to grow, and Dubai seemed to be the right place, vibrant, safe, evolving fast, and in the middle of the world, so as a Keynote Speaker, I could be anywhere in the world within 4 to 5 hours…
So, the past few months have incredible, I have travelled in 10 different cities, I have spoken at over 40 conferences and summits, and have learnt a lot about myself, the region, what people want and need, definitely 11 transforming months…
As I look at, what next?? I decided to give myself a new Goal, wohoooo, and the goal is to now step up and get to my next level of speaking career and become a $10K Keynote Speaker…
With this in mind, I’ve had a super idea to actually take you all with me on that journey and start: “The Secret Diary of Becoming a $10,000 Keynote Speaker.” Yep, you guessed it right, it’s all about those backstage whispers, epic wins, and secret sauce that have catapulted incredible speakers into the spotlight.

It was November 2018, I travelled to Beijing in China, to attend the Asia Pacific Mystery Shopping Professional Association. It was 9 years I had my mystery shopping company and had been a member of the association for long, I thought it was time for me to share a little bit of my journey in that industry.
So that year, I wasn’t just going to attend the conference, I had decided I was going to be speaking at the conference. Standing up in front of a room full of your pear, a room full of people who are experts in a field and share a message got me scared to death. I remember playing a clip of my little island of Jersey right at the beginning to explain where Jersey was and describe the difficulties I had in running a Mystery Shopping company on such a small surface… I remember it so well, full of dopamine, I walked on stage and just went for it. It was a moment of total flow, I felt so good, sharing my story, I could see the audience’s heads shacking and engaging, I had so much joy doing that, I shared my passion, I felt I was making a difference! When I finished I received a massive round of applause, I never expected. I remember after the presentation, taking photos with so many of the attendees the smiles, the laughter was an amazing feeling; it was that day, I thought I want to do that again and again.
