Are you an aspiring speaker ready to take the mic and launch your speaking career?
This summer, we’re inviting Jersey’s boldest voices, brightest ideas, and most inspiring storytellers to take the stage in our Speaker Factor OPEN-MIC Series. Whether you’re an experienced speaker or just starting out, this is your moment to shine, grow, and connect.
Over 5 weeks of exciting open-mic style evenings, 6 speakers (application form below) will take the stage, live in Jersey, each week for 15 minutes, followed by friendly, non-judgemental feedback from a panel of professional speakers and mentors.
Following the Speaker Factor Open-Mic Series, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a place in our Speaker Showcase this November, a chance to take your speaking career to the next level and start stepping onto bigger stages.

Who can apply?
- Aspiring or established speakers
- Professionals who speak in boardrooms, team meetings, or in front of crowds
- Anyone with a message to share and the desire to grow their confidence and impact
- Any topic welcome: business, wellness, storytelling, leadership, creativity… you name it!
- Open to individuals who want to grow, learn, and light up the room
All speakers are free to choose their own topic and speak on a subject they’re passionate about. Please note that some talks may include sensitive themes or personal experiences. While we encourage thoughtful storytelling in a respectful and inclusive space, our guidance is that parents of older teens/U18s should be mindful that we are not restricting content and we cannot guarantee that talks will be appropriate for younger listeners.

Tuesday 5th August 2025: will be a special Speaker Factor Open Evening: a relaxed opportunity to come and meet the mentors, take a look around the venue, stand on the stage, and ask any questions you may have. Whether you’re feeling a little nervous or just want to see what it’s all about, this evening is designed to help you feel more at ease and excited about the experience ahead. It’s all about making the stage feel less scary and more like a space where you truly belong.

Please note: It is free to speak at the Speaker Factor Open-Mic Series. However, if you’re ready to go further and position yourself as a speaker, you’ll have the opportunity to apply to join the Speaker Showcase on Wednesday15th October, a next level event designed to elevate your visibility and credibility.
The investment for the Showcase is £488, which includes a powerful speaker starter package:
